I am the one who is free to fly. I am the one who can begin again. I want you to know I love you all dearly.

When experiencing a loss—grief can be overwhelming.

SoulCollage® is a beautiful way to remember and honor loved ones while also creating space for loss and grief itself.

A Remembrance Workshop allows you and your group to gather together from anywhere in the world to honor a loved one, or process another significant loss such as a home, divorce, health, or life as you knew it. Using the SoulCollage® process supports you to work through this grief using art and journaling.

While your group will be sharing space over Zoom, each participant is supported in creating a collage that best speaks to them about the loss. Each uniquely created card will connect with the needs of its creator and can provide ongoing support during the grieving process. Some may find a deeper connection to themselves and the strength and clarity to move forward, some may find a stronger connection to their loved one, some may find enhanced comfort through supportive group connection, and some may be reminded of messages from the departed.

With training as a trauma-informed, Board-Certified Wellness Coach and SoulCollage® Facilitator, the workshop will be held within a safe and tender space for you, your family or friends to honor your grief.

Not everyone in my group is creative, can they also participate?
It’s not necessary to have any artistic abilities at all. Participants only need to be able to use a scissor and glue to make their card.

What exactly happens during a workshop?
In the session, I will lead your group through a short meditation to settle into our space together and gently open our hearts to each other and your loss. Next I will guide you through making your collage. Once the collages are complete I will lead a prompted journaling experience that will allow your card to express it’s message. Finally, you’ll have the option to share your creation and it’s message with the group.

What materials do we need? Will you supply them?
Each participant will gather supplies before we meet for the workshop.

You’ll need:

  1. If your workshop is specific to the loss of a loved one, bring copies of pictures of the person we’ll be honoring.

  2. Ahead of the workshop, you'll want to gather 10-15 various images that appeal to you and have some resonance to your loss. You can find them in magazines, picture books, collage books or printed from online copyright free sources. Choose images that you're called to, hold energy, and resonate with you whether positively or negatively. You'll want 5x8 or larger background images, people, animals, nature and embellishments.

  3. Scissors (or an x-acto knife and cutting mat)

  4. Glue stick

  5. 5x8 index cards or other type of card stock like a folder

  6. Pen and paper for journaling (a small journal or notebook works)

  7. Recommended Supplies can be found here.
